Zone 1: Palm Jumeirah

The Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island shaped like a palm tree, extending 5 kilometres into the Arabian Gulf. It is home to Atlantis The Palm, the Royal Atlantis Hotel, luxury villas, and some of Dubai’s finest beach resorts. On our city tour, you drive across the Palm and stop for photos at key vantage points. On full-day private tours, you can add a monorail ride or visit to the Atlantis viewpoint.

What to look for: The symmetry of the Palm’s fronds from the elevated road, the contrast between the resort skyline and the open sea, and the sheer engineering ambition of building a new landmass from nothing.

Zone 2: Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai

Downtown Dubai is the financial and entertainment heart of modern Dubai. The Burj Khalifa  at 828 metres, the tallest structure ever built dominates the skyline from every direction. Zone 3: Jumeirah and New Dubai

The Jumeirah district runs along Dubai’s coastline and represents the city’s glamorous modern identity. Jumeirah Beach is one of the most beautiful urban beaches in the world, with the Burj Al Arab rising from its own private island just offshore.

Airport Pickup (Layover City Tours): If you are transiting through Dubai International Airport (DXB) and have 6 or more hours between flights, a half-day city tour is an excellent use of your layover. Dubai Museum Inside Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest building in Dubai. Entry is included in all our tours. The museum traces Dubai’s history from pre-oil times through the present day through exhibits, dioramas, and artifacts. Duration at this stop: 20 to 30 minutes.

Gold Souk More than 300 shops occupying a covered market in Deira, selling gold jewellery at prices set by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group’s daily rate. Spice Souk Adjacent to the Gold Souk, the Spice Souk is a narrow market street of open-sack stalls selling saffron, oud, frankincense, dried roses, rose water, cardamom, cumin, and dozens of regional spices. Jumeirah Mosque One of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the UAE. The mosque is open to non-Muslim visitors on selected mornings through the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding’s Open Doors Open Minds programme. Dubai Mall One of the world’s largest shopping malls. On full-day tours, we include time at or near the Dubai Mall for independent exploration. The exterior Dubai Fountain is in front of the mall and viewable from the boulevard.

What to Wear on a Dubai City Tour

Dubai has a dress code in public spaces and at religious sites. It is not complicated, but it matters. Here is the complete and practical guide:

General rule: Dress modestly in public areas. Shorts and t-shirts are fine at malls, beaches, and tourist zones. Revealing clothing is inappropriate at mosques and traditional souks.

For Jumeirah Mosque: Women must cover hair (scarf provided at the mosque if you do not have one), shoulders, and knees. Men should wear trousers (not shorts). Our guide reminds all guests before mosque visits.

For the Gold Souk and Spice Souk: No dress code enforced, but respectful coverage (shoulders, knees) is considered polite and avoids unwanted attention.

For general touring: Lightweight, breathable clothing. Linen or cotton works best. Closed-toe shoes for comfort during souk walking. Sandals acceptable but souk ground can be uneven.

Sun protection is essential: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or cap for any outdoor stop. Even in winter, Dubai’s sun is strong at midday.

Layers in air-conditioned vehicles: Our vehicles are well air-conditioned. A light layer on top of your outfit is useful for the transit portions.
